Frequently Asked Questions
The app doesn't check endpoints when the screen is locked
iOS restricts background activity to preserve battery life. For continuous monitoring, go to Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock → Never to keep the screen on.
Notifications are not working
- Open Settings → Endora → Notifications and make sure they are enabled.
- In the app, go to Settings and verify the global notifications toggle is on.
- Check that notifications are enabled for the specific endpoint in its settings.
An endpoint shows as "Down" but it works in my browser
- The app checks the exact URL and HTTP method you configured. Ensure they match.
- Some APIs require authentication headers or specific request bodies.
- The expected status code must match the actual response (e.g., 200).
- Check if the server blocks requests without a browser User-Agent.
Response times seem high
Response times depend on your network connection, server location, and server load. The app measures the full round-trip time from request to response.
How do I delete an endpoint?
